Tekelec to Host Third SIP Educational Webinar

Tekelec (NASDAQ:TKLC) today announced it will host the third of a four-part Session Initiation Protocol (SIP:SIP) educational webinar series on Tuesday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

This session, focusing on SIP protocol, procedures, and architecture, will be led by Ben Campbell, principal engineer. Campbell is a member of the board of directors of the SIP Forum & coordinator of the SIPit interoperability events. He chairs the IETF's SIMPLE and GEOPRIV working groups; is co-editor for the core SIP specification (RFC 3261) and is the author of several essential corrections, updates and extensions.
