Tekelec to Chair Sessions at IMS 2.0 Rich Communication Conference

Tekelec (NASDAQ:TKLC), a leader in core multimedia session control, will lead the morning sessions at the IMS 2.0 Rich Communication Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The conference will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sept. 30 - Oct. 2.

Our morning will offer attendees the chance to learn about and discuss the most pressing issues facing IMS and Rich Communication services, said Peter Nas, marketing director for Europe, Asia, Africa & Australia for Tekelec. We'll hear from a strong line of presenters, including Philippe Lucas, vice president of international & industry relationships of Orange-France Telecom, and Dr. Masami Yabusaki, vice president of IP network development department of NTT DOCOMO, and many others.

With more than 17 years of telecom experience, Peter is responsible for the strategic marketing of Tekelec solutions, which includes Tekelec's signaling, messaging, network monitoring and IMS products.

Before joining Tekelec, Peter worked at various operator positions both in mobile and fixed markets and was core network engineering manager at a prominent mobile operator in the Netherlands. He started his career as a system engineer at a fixed-line operator where he introduced Euro-ISDN. Through his career, Peter has experienced all phases of operator expansion from start-up to a large and successful operator in a highly competitive market.

Peter has a Master's degree from the University of Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
