I am an independent investor who has managed a portfolio for three years. My portfolio consists primarily of small cap & mid cap stocks diversified across numerous sectors and industries (Computer networks, biotechnology, semiconductors, gold & silver, retail discount, oil & gas operations, scientific instruments & control, investment services, natural gas utilities, constuction raw materials, airlines, metal mining, medical equipment & supplies, security systems & services, telecommunications, iron & steel, business services).
My investment strategy is based on technical and fundamental market information that is tailored toward mid to long term growth.
My belief is that managing a successful portfolio is no different than running any successful business or managing any other type of asset (residential or commercial property). Managing risk should be based on a individual's potential rewards, goals & tolerance.
